Laptop Batteries

Here are my thoughts on laptop batteries.

The lithium-ion Notebook wear due to two factors: 1) the active use of the notebook battery and 2) the natural aging of the laptop battery. Both carry the battery of the notebook in time, the trick is to minimize their impact while the performance of the laptop battery you need.

The most important thing to understand about laptop batteries is that they always lose a little of his office. The warmer the temperature, the faster notebook batteries lose their charge. So rule number one is: keep refrigerated portable battery. Laptop battery manufacturers store their products in more than 60F. (It is nothing for them in the refrigerator, and may damage the battery from freezing.)

The second important thing to understand about laptop batteries is that their capacity decreases with each cycle of loading and unloading (or use). In itself this is not surprising - but in combination with the previous point leads to a surprising conclusion.

When laptop users leave their laptop battery in the machine, but leave the computer plugged into the wall, the laptop battery undergoes a constant load discharge cycles. The notebook battery is sitting unused in the notebook, discharging a little faster than normal because of the heat of the laptop. Once its charge level drops to a predetermined level (which is different for each manufacturer), the AC adapter provides extra juice to "finish" of the laptop battery. Since the laptop battery is larger, which tends to self discharge a little faster, further accelerating the process.

The lithium-ion notebook batteries normally offer 600 to 800 charge and discharge than 1.5 to 3 years of life. When using the laptop battery as described above, are unnecessary use of the supply of recharges.

An additional note: many will recall that the first cells in older laptops work best when they were fully discharged before recharging. While still true of the technology of nickel-cadmium, lithium Ion batteries in laptops today work best when they are recharged while they have capacity of 10 to 20% have. So if you're using the laptop battery a long flight, try not to get in the habit of using the notebook battery until it has almost no cost. The battery in your laptop, literally, never be the same again when you charge the next time.

Some guidelines for notebook batteries:

1 Remember that new laptop batteries generally arrive in a discharged state, you must charge for at least four hours before first use.

2 Keep your laptop battery cool, but do not put it in the refrigerator or freezer

3 Use the laptop battery if you do not have to! Many people keep their laptop plugged in most of the time. You can use your laptop battery life by storing the battery outside the laptop in a cool place.

5 Try to avoid using the laptop battery zero

6 charge the laptop battery for long periods of inactivity

7 As much as we would like to sell more laptop batteries, no battery replacement laptop purchase for later use. The longer you do, the less useful life they
